In my opinion, the EU acts like a greedy, encroaching consortium. Its about domination. Economy and money are just tools or bait.
It is rather this evil character of the EU that is the problem on a lower level. Mere economical ties can be reorganized and resolved between civilized partners. Switzerland for example, is not part of the EU and is still doing business with the EU. Moreover, being out of the Schengen Zone is actually an advantage due to the ongoing ethnic replacement.
I am not sure why you think „the world“ cancelled Russia. Isn't it just the so called „West“ which has tried to destroy Russia with sanctions and subversion? The sanctions not only failed, but backfired.
