Have you guys tried the Ruth Stout method of growing potatoes? Apparently you don't need to dig anything.

No, I never heard of it but will look it up. I'm not really a farmer, but I'm learning.

Apparently no digging. Put down a bunch of mulch on flat ground, put down potatoes, top it off with hay and maybe a bit more mulch or something.

It apparently reduces the amount of physical labour according to youtube.

Mulch steals the nitrates potatoes need.
