If there isn't going to be a man in the house, this doesn't seem like too bad of an alternative (on paper). Though the mulitgenrational commune called a family would serve much better imo.
That being said, I see abusive households remaining a problem if this trends, enhanced at minimum by clashing parenting ideas and estrogen.
