No, there aren’t unanswered questions. It isn’t flat. At all.
This is like atheists who have been given answers to their fantasies about contradictions in the Bible but just refuse to accept them. They think they’re original and profound asking the same stupid questions that have been answered successfully for 2000 fucking years as if they were the only ones to think of them.
It's irrelevant to the argument whether we're the first or last to think of these questions. We ask these questions because that is the Socratic method, not because we don't know.
The answer to the question "why are there contradictions in the bible?" is "because it was written by wicked men for the sole purpose of controlling you through the manipulation of your knowledge and emotions."
you believe there's a vengeful god, because you were told by a human that there is a vengeful god, and THAT person believes there's a vengeful god, because THEY were told by another human, who was told by another human, ....... ..... .... who was told by a jew who made it up to control weak minded people. No amount of pilpul or wishful thinking is going to make the biblical myths true.
In the same way that you experienced nothing before your own conception, there is nothing to be feared on the other side of death. The only way to "live forever" is to leave your mark in the minds of your children. It is enough to be good and moral, and believe in your own abilities until your time is up.
