It seems you don't know how magnetic tape works. Audio information is stored on magnetic tape by alternating magnetic fields. When the tape head is outputting a north-south field, the tiny gap in the tape head aligns the magnetic particles on the tape in one direction. When the tape head is outputting a south-north field, the gap now aligns the magnetic particles in the opposite direction. The tape moves along the record head producing magnetic striations in the magnetic particles. This is how analog audio is recorded on magnetic tape. This works for volcanic rock as well.
As magma seeps out of the volcanic rift along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the magma cools to a solid. Magnetic iron particles in the magma have enough time to align themselves with the Earth's magnetic field before they are frozen in position. Over the eons, subsequent layers of rock have formed this way. At different times the Earth's magnetic field has been different based on the position and strength of the poles. When the poles have reversed, the magnetic iron particles align themselves differently from the previous pole positions. This forms magnetic (not visible) striations of magnetic fields in the rock. A magnetometer or even a simple compass can detect these magnetic stripes when moved along the rocks. It's not magic nor is it circular logic. You made it circular logic since you didn't understand the concept.
So Earth is not really flat you say? Well that's a pretty retarded position to have when you have repeatedly said it was flat and that there were many models that don't agree 100%. If it were a disk floating in space, then there is a circular edge around it as well as a bottom side. Why is there no shred of evidence that the edge or bottom even exist? Yeah, go ahead and give me that worn out excuse of some treaty that prevents anyone from getting near the edge because government warships will kill you or whatever. That's a really stupid cop out that only proves the lack of evidence. So what is your reason for not being able to see over the edge? What insane and completely unprovable reason do you have for that one? I'm sure it will be a truly amazing feat of logic twisting much like the explanations for how the sun moves from one side of the sky to the other but without seeing them reset their positions even though a flat disc would see the entire sky. But go ahead and try without using the "duh, it's illegal" excuse.
Flat earthers who aren’t the controlled opposition Flat Earth Society don’t believe in an “edge.” Antarctica is the figurative “edge” of the FE model and the outer boundaries of where humans are capable of traveling. FE does not include belief in “outer space” as I’ve already said so any talk of falling off or seeing the bottom is a straw man. You should study the theory that you’re trying to disprove so that you can at least make a good faith effort without slipping into fallacies. I’ve already linked a helpful video.

don’t believe in an “edge.”
BELIEVE
And there it is. FE is based on beliefs not facts. It's a religion not a science. I will not waste time on a farfetched religion of beliefs that lead to nothing but contrarianism for the sake of not wanting to believe in outer space. I have peered deep into outer space with powerful telescopes and my own eyes. It exists. You will never convince me it doesn't having seen the wonder and the beauty I have.
Oh no! I said the word “believe” and therefore you got me!
“Hurr durr I have seen lights in the sky therefore outer space is real” flawless globetard logic there.
Also, quick reading comprehension lesson, I just said that FE proponents DONT believe in an edge. “belief is the enemy of knowing” and we don’t want to believe anything without being able to verify it in some way.
To summarize, I said FE people DONT believe in something and you ejaculate “Oho! It’s a religion of belief! XD” for anyone who can’t pick up on that.
Ironically globetardism is the religion here by any definition. All of your BELIEFS and yes they are beliefs because they’re based on anything but empirical observation, are handed down from on high and not demonstrable in any way. From thinking the earth has an iron core, which you can never verify and would never surmise on your own, to BELIEF that men played golf on the moon 50 years ago, it’s literally a religion.
Assuming you do BELIEVE in the Apollo fairy tale also.
It’s a dangerous road you go down when accusing FE proponents of religiosity when the entire concept of FE is based on rejecting pseudoscience. Go ahead and explain how your belief that the earth is a ball is anything except a belief when you can’t demonstrate it, that would be hilarious. You can’t go five minutes without making an assertion that is nothing but an appeal to authority, such as claiming to know the diameter of Venus or some other bullshit.
By the way I would debate you anytime in a public thread about any of this shit. We could see if your long-winded copy+paste texts about markings on rocks are enough to convince people you’re actually capable of an argument.
