I can't watch anything without wifi right now but is that vid you posted before of someone circling through the poles? I always wanted to see a video of some aerial journey through the earth's poles
The video uses airline travel distances and times to prove the Earth is not flat.
As for airplanes, it's because altimeters use barometers. Which means they follow altitude based on atomospheric pressure. You manually adjust this for localized conditions unless flying high. At which point, everyone using the same standardized setting. So everyone at these altitudes fly with the same localized error in altitude.
