In the 1980's and 1990's, I'd visited the giant crater in Arizona. Something punched that hole. Cool place to visit.
Their visitor center says they never found the meteor, but if you stop along the long road back out to the Interstate highway, you can pick up thousands of little red iron pebbles. I took home a bag of them once.
Have you checked if the red iron pebbles are radioactive? Oh, I forgot - nuclear bombs don't exist neither. Nvm.
