Also how does the earth transfer its 1000 mph spin up to the atmosphere? As the atmosphere gets thiner and at what point does the vacuum of space start to take effect?

Earth does not spin at 1000 miles per hour, that is a linear tangential velocity. You measure rotation in rpm or degrees. Earth rotates at 15 degrees per hour or .0069 RPM. For perspective, sit an office chair, spin once in 24 hours you will be spinning the same speed as Earth. Don't fall for flat earth BS, they like to throw big numbers around to make it seem insanity speed but speed is relative and requires reference framing.
