Im not claiming this map is completely representational nor am I getting into a debate with the advanced science of aerodynamics without any pictures showcasing what you are referring to.
On a mainstream map NYC to Poland and South Africa to Argentina are both roughly 4500 mile trips. On the flat earth map in OP, South Africa to Argentina is two or three times longer of a trip than NYC to Poland
On the mainstream map it doesnt factor in the Earths supposed rotation. All pilots are Flat Earthers, they dont fly based on a globe model.
I didn't factor rotation into anything either. I just noticed how much more distance between South Africa and Argentina there is on the flat earth map vs globe map. I think people would notice if the globe map's distance scaling was so far out of whack.
