Considering that the SNAP purchases probably account for the vast majority of their sales, a good option for them would be to make snacks out of real food that doesn't make people fat and sick, then they could continue making money. A better option still is for them to fold as payback for the countless lives they have destroyed poisoning people for money.

We need to go back to things like government cheese. If there are a bunch of some kinds of food that go unpurchased, thr government gets to buy it at an "expiry date" price, preserve it some way (turning milk to cheese) and then THAT is handed out instead of money. It is survival food. It will allow you to survive, but it won't be very appealing, highly encouraging welfare recipients to make better choices like going to work, earning money and then buying their own food.
As a kid one of the mayor's (bedroom community usa) cronies would line up every month for the govermint food handouts at the local courthouse, then turn around and sell it to friends.
At any big stores, only food can be purchased with a snap card. If I need ANYTHING else such as crack pipes, brillo, cigarettes, or beer, I would just have to go to any pajeet corner store. It's not something openly on display but 9 out of 10 pajeet stores will allow this. Some do it for the regular cost and some will charge an extra "tax" on top.
I routinely purchase cards from people (drug addicts) and there is a huge market for them. For past 3 years, I have had one lady I buy $640 worth of stamps from for 300 cash every month. If I don't buy it, someone else will and I get to enjoy quality steaks 5x a week.
