Would like to know this as well. Why do you think they block it?

[–] 0 pt

I don't think so, I know so. Almost every archive link posted on Poal asks my TOR browser for captcha verification except the captchas don't actually work even if I wanted to spend 15 mins to see a link which I don't.

What I mean is, what is their rationale for doing so?

Probably being Jews which is another reason to find a based archiver.

Some do abuse TOR to spam, but that can be solved with captchas that actually fucking work and proof of work being demanded of spammers. Literally what the algorithm was invented for originally.

could you see if this works?

https://conifer.rhizome.org/

I have been playing with pywayback (what conifer uses), and I think it is a long term solution because we could build recordings and share them as torrents (or whatever service works well) in the future. There will be a day when archive sites will be gone, and all of that knowledge will be gone.
