If you could crack the encryption without brute force, it would be shit encryption.

Yeah, I remember encrypting the shit out of it also. It depended how long you moved your mouse around while doing it. But the program disappeared so I was hoping maybe it was shit encryption these days.

The 'ol "Locked it away so well even I can't get it" problem.

Recovering any kind of password like this is a bitch. If you do decide to mess with it, a bytewise copy using dd or something to preserve it in case of fuckup might be a good idea.

Well when I was still using XP I knew it, but several years later without using it, shit! I only remember the last 9 digits.
