They use very little power and are small so they are great for: - Torrent downloader. Schedule to run when you sleep / are not home - Kodi media player - Use incursion + debrid service or go the sonarr / radarr route to auto download / update your media library. Or just use it to play file you already have - Home automation - turn stuff on / off or monitor it - Run centralized web filter / firewall / etc - Use Cacti for SNMP based monitoring / logging and display in pretty graphs - Get more powerful SOC (RPI3 or Odroid or similar) and run a desktop on it? - Broke it? So what? Just flash the image again and start over. Edit: I'll add a couple more I forgot: Digital signage - Just set it up to run a slideshow script a boot and you have digital signage box! IP Cam server - can get / setup / run free zoneminder and run all your IP Cams off it for office / home monitoring or surveillance.
