I've talked to friends who hunt about this. I can't do it. I can't raise chickens for food. I can't hunt for food. I'm happy to trade vegetables I grow for meat but I don't have it in me to take the life of an animal. I just want to hug them and be bros with them. Were a coyote after my cats or something maybe it would be different, but I'm not going to shoot a coyote just because it's in my yard.
