On anonymous imageboards, anons usually refer to each other by some identifier with 'anon' added to the end. When Q posted with the Q moniker, refering to him as 'Qanon' was perfectly natural. It was an anonymous poster, identified by 'Q'.
Dixieanon bought land and started a farm, in dixie, and his threads were excellent. He never asked to be refered as such, it's simply imageboard culture.
On anon boards you don't tell people a screen name, therefore you are called anon. Q used a screen name. So no I kinda don't agree.
Dixieanon sounds interesting. I've done that myself.
Q used a screen name.
Hence, Qanon. It's part of imageboard culture. When Q rejected the label, it was as an outsider. The people that populate 8chan know exactly what is meant by it.
