Been getting back into PC gaming over the last couple years and I haven’t found any good WW2 games I like (last WW2 game was an old CoD game on Xbox 360, IF I recall correctly). Would especially enjoy playing from the German side but I wonder if such a thing even exists.

These days I play a lot of RDR2 (solo and online), No Man’s Sky, Civ 5 (still a great game)… And always returning to older stuff like Ultima 3-9, MAME roms, etc…. Mostly Steam or GOG games.

Any reco’s would be appreciated.

The gaming industry has been jewed to its core. You'll not find a single descent and accurate WWII game on these mainstream platforms.

Don’t disagree. RPGs especially have woke storylines and rainbow coalition crap — For instance, Baldur’s Gate 3…. I’m trying to get a parasite out of my eyeball and make my way to town to kill a dragon, etc…. I don’t need dialogue from homosexuals who have entered my camp and are trying to have gay sex with me. On the upside (with that game at least) you can just kill them.

They had Heroes and Generals. But since EVERY good player played as the wehrmacht, the devs made allied guns and assets overpowered, so the normie faggots playing as the goypatrol could win some of the wars. Welp, everyone left and they shut down their servers 2 years ago. Its sad.

Have you played L.A. Noire? Not a WW2 game, but it's close. Absolute classic.

Yes! I played on 360 back in the day but not much.

Recently, I picked up the PC version on Steam. It really holds up - already halfway through.

Rockstar has released great stuff (Read Dead, etc) and I actually enjoy their engine more than Unreal, etc…. But with what I’ve seen of GTA 6, it looks awful.
