Sue the shit out of them. Survey's can be pretty expensive too. In this case, it is worth it though. If they are on your land then force them to take down anything built on it.

I mean, depending on what state I am in I will be outside with a "scary black gun" saying "get the fuck off my land". You have to be in the right state though.
