Usenet was the good old days man. BBS's...give me old school internet any day. Once they started packaging the internet that was it. Now it's so jewified it's just sad.

There are still a few decent areas left. I have Pi, Nethack, and a few others in my feedreader and they're all decently active still. Pi especially, that gets quite a bit of traffic.
