Frankly, I use Google only as a last resort. Search is fading. People want answers. AI engines provide this. However, the article makes it clear that content is already being polluted by AI output. Google needs to come up with a different solution that allows content providers to monetize their content thus giving them a reason to publish new content. Otherwise, the internet will be in a doomloop of degradation.
