The figures are more promising among the active-duty force, where 97 per cent have received at least one shot and 87 per cent are fully vaccinated.
Active Army troops must be fully inoculated by December 15, while Reserve and National Guard employees have until June 30, 2022 to get the jab, the US Army said.
So two or three percent will be discharged and the NG and reserves have until next July to get theirs. Sounds like a real nightmare. Just like every other organization it’s always less then 5% that won’t do it.
2-3% is nothing and since the “wars” are over they always downsize. After the gulf war they let most of the E6’s go to allow people to move up claiming they were clogging the promotion system and lower enlisted couldn’t get promoted. Even though E-7’s were doing the same thing but were allowed to stay.
They also put limits on time you could be in a certain rank before being discharged. They also fucked with everyone to get them out on disciplinary actions.
The vax is just an excuse to downsize.
There is currently a class action making its way through the courts regarding the “crisp” list
