Fantastic, thanks. Life is pretty good, at least here.

The more I enjoy this rather posh existence, the more I think I can get used to it. Obviously, I've never stayed this long in a posh hotel. It has its perks.

How's by you?

Also, I'm headed back to Maine on Thursday. I'll be there until after the holiday. I have an appointment with the medical team on the 29th, so I'm going to be there at least until Saturday the 30th. I haven't actually set my return date/time yet.

all is well except for the pain management bullshit i am enduring due to those pesky agents and their fucking pretend opioid epidemic. the only epidemic is when i run out of the opioids then everyone around me gotta have problems too it seems. problems with my poor choices i reckon....at least i know i am well loved by a few...you being one of em.

I can kind of relate - but only kind of.

It took way too many phone calls and approvals, as well as getting a physician here to make a phone call, to get them to be able to call my prescriptions in down here in Virginia.

It's fucking crazy. I am a legitimate opiate user with legitimate pain. Because of this, I ensure I have a ready supply - for which my medical team is cooperative. But, no... No, they have to go and make it more difficult.

It only strengthens my resolve that that the shit should be legal and over the counter. Anyone wanting to do opiates can already get opiates. 'Snot like folks are going to say, "Hey, they're legal! I'm gonna become a junky!" Folks that want them for illicit reasons can already get them. That's why we have a "drug problem."
