Cue , or even better .
I know it's sacrilege, but I really never liked The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'm not phased by the trans people. I even love a good musical. I think Meat Loaf is awesome.
I don't hate the movie - and I've seen it more times than I can count, but I never really understood the cult obsession some folks have for it.
Yes, I realize this makes me a freak, but I just can't really enjoy it that much. I've been dragged to see it, dozens of times.
It's not in my top anything. It was a "cultural middle-finger" at the time. However, Tim Curry is one of my favorite actors and only misfits don't like Meatloaf. I never participated, but the midnight showings with the weirdo's throwing rice and acting out were entertaining in the "mood" I was in. I remember one showing where the theater thought it was a good idea to turn on an aircraft sized strobe light unit at the back of the theater when people were leaving. I wonder if there are still some unfortunate souls still to be found under some seats there, scared to venture into the real world. Good times.
Yeah, I've gone to see it in the various theater re-showings and done all the silly things I'm supposed to do, at the behest of my friends who are fans. I never really got the appeal.
Meatloaf still puts on a pretty good show, by the way.
