Even though it will necessarily be a while before you will post your work, be sure to join us on the Friday Night Guitar Thread on "another" site, as it is a good place to hear others and converse with other players of all levels. Expertise is not a requirement, just the joy of music.
I'm not sure if I would be welcomed on "Other site" being the guy who started this place, I know a few of the users over there are non too fond of me. I will lurk for sure though!
Screw 'em. I think, at least hope, that the thread stays pretty much on topic and I don't think most there would tolerate much hazing of others. I have never seen any political or social talk occurring, as most of that community is only interested in music. If it's really a concern, create an alt.
