That's a great question, I'm glad you asked!
I'll try to answer it with some degree of brevity - but, as I told you, it's a pretty long story.
I'm a driving enthusiast. Though, I'm not like many typical driving enthusiasts.
My daily driver is a BMW 650i. I listen to the road noise (specifically a lack of it), the engine, the exhaust note, the shift change, and the sound of air passing and doing its thing.
After my divorce, I bought my midlife crisis car. That was a Viper. It didn't even come with a slot to put a radio in it.
My next car may well end up being one of the AMG GT R models. I'm not sure I want to leave the BMW brand, however.
Well I'll agree with you BMW is awesome, I've only had one its was a 2000 328i I loved that car, LOVED IT. It was a 5 speed and it was perfect right up until 368k miles. I bought it when it had 280 or so on it. Nothing I've ever driven I liked as much for a daily driver. I guess you probably listen a lot closer to things than I do. Do all vipers not come with a radio? Or did you buy some kind of track model?
Most Vipers come with a radio, but this was the 96 RT/10.
I owned that until my kids decided they wanted to come live with me. I was really sad when I sold it.
Why would you sell that? I can't imagine a reason to get rid of that car.
