For now, anything that's not Ernie Ball or cheaper - in a medium gauge strings. Any brand will do. You're eventually going to want to try new sets, but for now something consistent is best. I'm more worried about your form than I am about your ability to shred.

Somehow I am guessing it'll be a while before I am shredding. Form is what I cared about from day 1 you made it clear that was more important than learning notes or chords in the beginning. I'll avoid ernie ball or cheaper and just get anything else in medium gauge then.
Alright, I'm going to make this easy for you.
Start with Gibson brand strings. Get a medium gauge, for electric guitar - of course. Then, try the LPS (Les Paul Special) strings, also from Gibson. Then, try a lighter gauge. Then, try a whole bunch more until you're happy with one.
It'll be a long time before you're worried about "drop D tuning" or the likes. So, hold onto that question. Just get a normal set of Gibson Electric Guitar Strings in medium gauge. You can ask the guy at the counter for exactly that. They will know exactly what you mean and be right back - or just show you the damned rack and let you stare at for a while, while bewildered at the many choices.
Just get Gibson brand strings. They're fine and they're priced fairly. Plan on $10 a set, maybe $12.
Someday, you might reach the point where you're buying bulk single strings and assembling your own string sets for your own needs! (It's like a fucking disease.)

I'll get Gibson strings in medium gauge. I don't need them just yet as the guitar came with a spare set. I don't know how long it'll be before I break one. I appreciate the advice I really really do. I look forward to staring at the rack I'll probably read all the packages as thats just what I do.
I can handle 10$ at the moment just to have another spare set on hand.
Define looking? I have looked at other guitars and amps but I know I can't afford either at the moment so I won't buy one until I can. I am rather curious about the les paul style I have and the fender style where all the tuners are on the same side of the head.
