Looks sweet, how many guitars are you generally taking too a show?

I take six, but I already have three spares that already ride on the truck. I keep a strat, GLP, and a D-28 on the truck at all times.

Why all three? This may just be the amateur in me talking but I would think you would end up with a preferred style once you gain a certain skill level.

It often requires a specific guitar to faithfully replicate the music we play. It's for this reason that I carry six. However, I can fake it well enough with any of those three. With the Strat, I can cover many specific sounds. With the GLP, that opens up quite a few more. With the D-28, I'm pretty much able to cover any acoustic song and do it well enough to pass muster.

Those three remain on the truck, and only come off if I notice a problem during sound check - or I might run out and grab one at break. So far, it hasn't been an issue with this current band. But, I've had it be an issue in the past.

So, those three allow me to replicate enough variety and sound good enough for it. I scream, or sound sweet with a Strat, I straight up howl or growl with a GLP. The Martin has enough volume that I can get away with playing it a little software, should I need to. They're like my Swiss Army knife.
