I just realized the link was too tenacious d an the pick of destiny. I am not very observant this morning as I've been practicing, I can play the opening to smoke on the water now. I know I was told not to do that but fuck it I wanted to learn it. I know its wrong and not how its supposed to be played but It sounds okay and thats the first thing I've played that sounds okay. My mother(the one who wants a martin) she asked me to play it so I did. I've seen the pick of destiny many times and listened to the songs many more times than that. Let me know what that next one is, I could use another movie to watch with the wife. I am about 24 hours from saying fuck it and driving out to maine to see those blueberries I might even just say fuck it and bring the whole family. We have nothing stopping us and why the fuck not. I've got not job we have money saved why shouldn't we take an impromptu end of the summer camping trip.
The movie is much more significant when you're now a guitar player, which you are - just not yet a good one.
But, the next one is August Rush.
I'm a guitar player about to damn pack my guitar and my family and drive. Without even a real direction just a general idea of where to go. And lobster on the brain. And mountains and who knows what else we will find. I just need to wander. I need this to find what I am supposed to do. I am lost and the only way to find a direction is to wander.
I think it's called 'wanderlust.'
