I have to wait that long? I'll just play scales then.
Well, no... You could watch it first - but where's the fun in that? It's a great reward for a hard day of practicing.
I have a few such movies that aren't even remotely educational but I consider 'em important for a well-rounded guitarist!
It's got Jack Black and, believe it or not, he's an excellent guitarist.
I'll practice first. My hands hurt. I want to just sit. but I'll play. My kids have been a pain in the ass for days and my wife has been trying her best, but wow just wow the last few days, it probably has a lot to do with my uncertain income situation. However that doesn't make it any easier. I just want an easy day, but there is endless work to do. Endless I tell you. The yard the house the birthday party! It never ends. Still I sit and I play for an hour every day. I suck and I don't even like listening to myself play, but I get a little better every day. Someday it'll sound like something good. Anyway where was I going with this? I don't even know anymore. I should play something.
Not only is there endless work, you went and added to it when you decided to buy a guitar! LOL
I'm gonna make the hoodlum watch the movie with me and smoke some more pot. Well, I'll smoke the pot - and possibly drink some wine!
I am, too. It's an awesome movie. It is NOT kid-appropriate, by many folk's definitions. She's old enough, but young kids may be scared or, worse, influenced. LOL It might influence them to want to play guitar and that's pretty terrible, as you're now seeing!
There's swearing and adult situations, as well as demonic images. You have been warned.
However, the next research movie is very kid (and wife) friendly. In fact, it's a chick flick - except it's still worth watching, even if you don't have a vagina.
