USB 3.0/3.1 kicks the dog shit out of PCI as far as bus speeds are concerned, I think PCIe still beats the shit out of 3.1 I think, m2 drives are good evidence of that.

Well, This IS my domain, hardware I understand. Computer hardware anyway. I can cook up and figure out good hardware. I'll figure this out and I bet I can put together something for you that is better than what you've seen before. I know a few sound engineers I might consult.

I don't ever realistically have much of an issue with the volume being too low. I can almost always find a way to make it louder!
