I'd like to say I can read this but I'm not in the right state of mind to do it. So I'll check it out tomorrow. After I pick my kids up.
My first instinct was to ask if you were trolling.
Dude... The tab in the video you showed me - it's like some dude's Guitar Tab Pro (or something like that) spitting out his shitty tab.
At one point, they pluck the third fret on the B string - like 17 times in a row.
It's about as complicated as Baa Baa Black Sheep or Mary Had A Little Lamb. Fuck, it might be simpler than they are. I dunno, I'll ask the hoodlum to play it tomorrow. I'll time her. I give it 10 minutes - she'll watch it twice and play it the third time and then probably have the timing down on the play through immediately after that, about 10 minutes. Another 20, if you want her to record it and edit it.
Well this is depressing because I found it complicated. I have lots a of reasons to be depressed this should not be one of them.
Of course you found it complicated! You're still new. You also don't have a dedicated teacher who lives in the same house as you do and you don't diligently practice for four hours per day - and then play for another two. You're also not young and it's harder to learn to play music instruments after the age of 25. As it takes 7 to 10 years to get reasonably good at most instruments, the latest you want to start is probably 14 to 16.
But, it'll make sense someday. Someday, you'll look back at this conversation and giggle.
