Oh, I was way off. Thats cool. Weren't they a big rival of Enzo back in the 30's or 40's?
Not so much by then. The company foundered and ended up being purchased by Rolls Royce and was owned by them for a long, long time. They ended their factory involvement with racing - but customers will raced with off-the-books factory support for a while.
Then, in the late 90s they started back up again. With plans reaching fruition in the 2000s. They've been rocking it ever since.
There's a marketing slogan.
"You get driven in a Rolls. You drive a Bentley."
That's why you need one of each, sometimes you need to get driven and sometimes you need to drive. Just don't let your lawyer be the over to drive you when you're getting driven!
I can't buy a used Rolls. I just can't do it.
They're so heavily customized that it'd be like wearing another man's underwear.
I'd consider buying a classic Rolls - but not a modern used one.
Also, I much prefer to drive than to be driven. I'm also a terrible 'back seat driver'. I constantly coach Biff when she's driving, for example.
Speaking of which, she's decided on a 718 Spyder.
