An uncharged fire extinguisher is of no value. So, make sure they're charged!
That's a good point. I havent checked them lately. Last time I looked they were still charged. I will check them again today
Smoke detectors also help.
Mine detect smoke and some other shit like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, radon, etc... They run off the house's electricity and don't take batteries 'cause the entire house has battery backup. Well, they take little backup batteries but those last like five years. The person that comes and checks on the system also checks those. I don't fucking deal with 'em. I've got better things to do.
Yeah, I don't think they even had smoke detectors in the house that burned. If there was there would have been loud beeping and there was none of that at all
