You can install it in the live system to test.

Open the terminal and copy/paste this (it's faster):

sudo apt install abiword -y

I did the command and installed it and showed him, i think i have him talked into being a linux user LoL

It's easy. It's free. It just fucking works.

Again, make sure it works on HIS laptop with the Live USB.

I find Linux easier to use than Windows. It's not all terminal commands. In fact, he'll never even have to tough the terminal unless he wants to. You can do it all through the GUI.

oh yeah, i will run it on his laptop now and see how it works on that one, I almost forgot to do that, thanks again
