Yup. It sold for more than average book value. I paid less than book value. I paid like 11k and sold it for 16k. That'll pay the mechanics for a couple of weeks.
Technically, they did all the work selling it. I barely know the guy that bought it. He's young, maybe 25 years old. So, to him it's a really special car. That's great! It really is. Everyone should drive a car they think is special.
When he wrecks it, he'll probably survive. It's a pretty safe car. It's got 450 hp, so he's eventually gonna wreck it. Either that or he'll baby it and treat it really well.
Being that he is 25 he will probably wreck it. LoL
I figure he'll do one or the other. He's either gonna wrap it around a tree or he's going to treat it like a classic car that needs to be preserved, driven, and enjoyed.
I don't know which one they'll do. They might intend to do the latter but end up doing the former along the way. It'd be nice if they preserved it.
As far as cars go, it's pretty fucking awesome. It's just not as special when compared to my personal collection. It's certainly very special for them.
Yeah thats a far cry from the average vehicle on the road
