That seems intuitive to me, by then all the driver issues have most likely been solved for basic uses

There are companies throwing millions and millions of dollars at the Linux kernel project.

Pretty much everything you see online is powered by Linux. The fucking world is powered by Linux.

It's just not huge on the desktop. It absolutely dominates every other sector, from mobile to embedded, from server to supercomputer, Linux rules all of those categories.
