I wasn't very good at that until I had excess by a wide margin. Even when I was squarely upper-middle class, I wanted more. I made low six figures per year, plus bonuses. I still wanted more. I also sucked at budgeting responsibly.

I used to work really hard to earn money.
It paid off, but now I am in the habit of working hard. So, I'm still adjusting. Life is full of lessons.
Work is just something I have to do to pay the bills. I prefer my time to be spent doing other things, but thats just me. My mindset is different that a lot of folks, I have friends tell me a lot, I could never live the way you do. They tell me they would be overly stressed if they were me and I don't stress about much at all, if anything
