At the end of the day, I have a band to pay. When we begin the new season, every single member will be making a living exclusively from their music. That's a pretty big responsibility. That's a lot of trust they're placing in me.

So, we must pick our battles with care and I'm usually pretty vigilant about what I say in public.

The last thing we need is a newspaper article saying that they found the lead singer of a local band posting on a forum full of nazis.

I don't think the public is going to pay enough attention to actually listen to my justifications. I can justify it. I don't need to, but I can.

So, I must take care. I also have to be careful that what I share is not on social media. I hate checking Facebook, and don't have an account, so I tell them to post a message of what they shared.

It's an interesting line. The reality is that I just really like free speech. Offense is taken, never given. I'm pretty sure they're not gonna find those acceptable solutions in the local media. Waking up to WCSH on my lawn is not something I find appealing.

If anyone is poised to address this based on an extensive career, it's you. Your commitments, and theirs, should be of the highest priority.

I'm at a pretty good confidence level. We've got this. We're good. I already know they can play without me, which gives me some more confidence. They'll be alright. If you do some creative bookkeeping, we made a profit last year.
