I am afraid that I don't have this direct from the soundboard. At least not yet.

I am going to potentially get some IRL heat for this. I am going to redact it all to hell. So, they'll just have to accept it. Besides, they can't really fire me!

I read the thread. This is definitely not for PMYB2, it's for the baby! nods

, you'll maybe want this too.

I can cede no rights to this song. You assume all liability if you distribute this.

Thanks! Spectacular as always (I suppose, have never heard it and that this doesn't exist).

I don't know anything about it! I'm not even sure what band that was. I think they did a good job!

LOL The sound is pretty shitty. That'd be one of our internal-use tracks, if it were one of our tracks, if it were us.

As I recall, that was only the third time that band had performed the song in public and I'm pretty sure that the lead guitarist (who did not do the intro vocals) wanted to hear how the audience responded - because he must maintain care. That song contains the word faggot. In today's hypersensitive world, one needs to be careful about the lines they cross.

That'd be true of, say, a band that wanted to be known as a high-end cover band and get the cushy gigs.

I'll see some of the band today. I'm going to draw some new lines in the sand. I suspect we may see more redacted material in the future.

I was actually listening if that line would be included. It's a fine line to tread, remain true to the artists intentions or placate the paying customers. Some may say that "bowing" to their demands is unscrupulous, but they're also the customers that expect to be entertained. In the end, a choice has to be made and the "business" of music is a delicate balance. Same goes for the exposure a band may want to encourage or contain. They want to entertain, bring joy and happiness, but it's kinda hard to do that if the only place you play is in your basement due to in-person customers not attending due to their associations. Having firm values is important and may require some hard business choices.
