Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask TheBuddha, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

This week has been pretty busy. Fortunately, we have been able to wrap up a piece that has been in the works for a while. It's a complex piece, much of it played simultaneously with two guitars - almost in a dueling fashion. When I tried to find a word to describe it, the only word that seemed to fit was 'staggering'. It's a great deal of work and a wonderfully complex piece.

Damned right! Biff played opposite me and did a fine job. The timing for this track was pretty intense.

Alas, I'm not sure how long we'll be here tonight. I'm feeling a bit under the weather and rather sore tonight. No, wine isn't gonna help. So, we'll probably only be here for a while. It's very unlikely that Biff will stay on chatting after I've left. That just doesn't seem likely.

Bad ass. I pictured the guitars shifting from left to right speaker when you were taking turns.

Glad ya liked it. That one took a while to get polished, recorded, and pushed out the door.

Damn, that's pretty intense. Great to have an original track from y'all. It's going to take a few listens to fully appreciate it all. At around 2:20 and at the end, is that J doing some keys or is it guitar with effects? Nice whatever it is. Excellent work by everyone.

For some reason it's got me fantasizing about being shipwrecked on a deserted island ;).

Guitar and effects. There are some keys in there, but they're really subdued.

Glad ya liked it. It was a ton of work. We've been working on it for quite a while.

I dont know this song, but it sounds cool, the guitar playing was excellent, as usual!

Of course you don't know the song. It's an original. Nobody knew the song until today.

Glad ya liked it!

Good evening all, hope everyone had a good week. Seems they're still playing around with the usernames and since part of the Thread is to build a community and get recognized for your talent and effort to share your tunes, you might want to consider identifying in your posts and comments tonight. Or not, that's up to you.

I'll get us started with a tune sung by granddaughter with her dad on guitar. It's a song by Christian artist Lauren Daigle called "You Say" and seems befitting of this weekend.

Wishing you a Blessed Easter

That was awesome! Love your grand daughters singing!

Thanks. That was from a while ago and she's joined a new choir so I'm waiting on her doing something new.

Here is another song with me, Chris and Verle the other night, I dont remember who sang it originally but I am sure you will all remember this song,

That was done by The Penguins back in '54. I have a MFU article on it

That one was dedicated to the most beautiful woman I have ever seen that I am lucky enough to spend every day with

Beautiful women are responsible for probably 90% of all music ever written. It's easy to see why.

Hello everyone! My friend Chris stopped by earlier this week and we jammed out for a few hours. Here is where we just spontaneously made up some kind of song or something as we went. Some parts of it are magical, there's lots of screaming. It's

When it starts with a beer cracking and Verle laughing you know it's another night at the Crazy Farm. Nice noodling.

I have one last song for you all to listen to tonight.

Here's another golden oldie that Chris and Verle played the other day, I was gone when they did this one.
