Yeah I was a little kid so I don't remember that dog maturing. He would retrieve rabbits, or ducks or geese though. We got the show dog after the lab died. I don't know why cause it wasn't up to me, but he was supposedly the best Springer Spaniel show dog ever, he won every show he ever entered. They had some trainer take him and do the dog shows, I never even went to any, but he would always come home with best in show. And the trainer brought a lot of bitches over for him to fuck.
Mine is a good lineage. I could get paid to stud him out, but I don't really give a shit. I've got some paperwork when I get back to Maine. Instead of getting paid, I'll just take a puppy when it's time.
That's all you really want from the stud service anyways
Retraining a new dog is gonna be up to a couple of hours per day for a while. I'll have to fit that into my schedule somehow. It shouldn't take too long. It''ll be a golden. So, 6 months will be a good start and then weekly workouts for a while. The old dog will help train him.
