That's way too much tv watching, you're going to rot your brain!

I was thinking, I don't even use any pedals, I only have one. Distortion. There's overdrive built into the amp, and my tascam recorder has built in effects like chorus and phaser and overdrive, I use those, but, I dont even remember the last time I even plugged the pedal I have in!

We use a ton of pedals. We don't (often) create our own sound. We have to match the sounds other people make. Those people use pedals. So, we have to use them and know how they work as well as how to use them.

And, my brain isn't rotting. I've got a pretty hearty brain. I mostly watch mindless stuff, like cartoons. I also watch some educational stuff and some automotive stuff. Once in a while, if there's nothing else on, I watch true-crime stuff.

I enjoy analyzing the commercials. I'm amazed that they make the commercials they make. They're obviously successful commercials, as they've been working on this for decades, but man don't they aim at the lowest common denominator.

Quite a bit of the time the TV is just on and making noise. I'm often too busy with other stuff to pay much attention to it.

Once in a while I learn something new. So, there's that.
