Then you should be able to pull it off.
Did I ever tell you the story about a dude that owed some money?
I can't be too specific, but someone owed someone else a chunk of change. It was like $10k or so. This was here in Maine and the guy lived in Mass. while having a mobile home (trailer) as his 'hunting camp' in Maine. He really liked coke and he borrowed some money from someone so that he could buy coke. He never returned with the money or the coke.
So, a few people rented a giant truck, wore high-vis jackets, put a magnetic sign on the side of the truck, drove up, disconnected everything, and stole his trailer.
This was all done during the middle of the day. It was a weekday. They acted like they belonged there. They acted like they were supposed to be moving the trailer. They went through all the right steps and stole the guy's trailer.
Nobody got busted. The trailer isn't all that many miles away from where it was, but it's off the beaten-path.
LoL you bastards!
I think it might actually have only been a grand. I don't think it was that much money. A grand sounds about right, but my memory is fuzzy.
The trailer was stolen right during broad daylight by people who just acted like they were supposed to be there and were supposed to be doing the things they were doing.
It's that same confidence that makes the shirt with security on it such a great asset, or get the cops to just leave you alone. You just gotta act like you're doing what you're supposed to be doing.
I use my .edu email address to get into stuff. If I want to visit the telescopes in Hawaii, I'd email them ahead of time with my MIT email address, let them know when I'm going to be in the area, and asking them when a good time is to show up for a private tour.
Nobody ever asks what exactly I'm a doctor of. They just see the MIT email address and assume I know what I'm talking about and that I belong there asking those questions.
Oh yeah. I know damned well I could walk into nearly any business and act like I was sent to repair some equipment and gain access to their entire computer system within minutes. People don't generally question those who act confident
Some freaking lunatic just shot seven people at an indian reservation casino near me.
