It's more expensive than cheap hosting, but it's worth it.
Basically, everything is at least duplicated. It's not even a mission-critical site. I just prefer the lack of hassles. Once properly configured, it maintains itself.

Damned right. It's worth the extra money. I don't have to babysit anything - literally. I get daily reports emailed to me, weekly reports, and monthly reports. All with different metrics.
And, the state of Maine opened during tourist season last year. They had really low numbers, so they let (some of) the tourists in. The end result was a giant spike in numbers. Now the numbers are back down again - and they're letting the tourists back in.
Hopefully it goes better than last time.
