Oh, it's okay. I never drive faster than I can stop. At most, I'll just scare the tourists - and give 'em something to talk about. Tonight, as they sit around the fire, they're gonna talk about today's events. To them I say, "You're welcome."

Also, "Stay out of the goddamned road."

But, yeah, I never drive faster than I can stop. In other words, the limits of my vision are the limits of my speed. It's what keeps me from smashing into stuff. If everyone did it, they'd stop smashing into stuff. Never drive faster than you can stop.

Well, unless you're on a race track. In that case, you may want to take risks. I don't take those risks on public roads. Even on the track, I generally still don't drive faster than I can stop. I don't have a factory backing me, so I've gotta pay for my own repairs. If it's a school's car I give no shits and I'll drive that fucker as hard and fast as I want.

Yeah but things like a deer or a moose can enter the road in front of you at a distance that you can not stop at. Just be careful LoL I feel like I'm talking to one of my kids when I type that! LoL

And you sure as hell don't really want to wreck in any of your cars.

That's why I don't just look at the road. I pay heavy attention to the sides of the road. Moose and deer are factored in. If you can't see the sides of the road, slow down 'cause you're driving faster than you can stop.

This not driving faster than I can stop is why I've never had an at-fault accident. The hard part is knowing how fast you can stop and sticking to it. It's a fine edge and crossing it can be painful.
