I will just have my son bring me in his car and have him crank it up on his 10 thousand watt sound system. Then everyone can hear it!
LOL They may frown on that. They're kinda control freaks at prisons, and for good reason. They're not gonna want you riling up the inmates and they'll take away your visits as well as kicking you out.
Well, probably... That's what we'd have done while I was a transportation officer.
However, I was involved/familiar with the detention system it was very different - and they were federal/military detainees. We barely had cell phones back then - and they were giant things in your car with like a 500 pound brick of electronics in the trunk. Ain't no way you're smuggling one of those into a prison!
One of my mechanics just left. He got out the Viper for me, went over it, and says it should be good for tomorrow morning. It's loud... I went out and hung out for a little while. Man, is it loud... I checked and nobody added exhaust cutouts. The exhaust system is in fine working order. It's just amazingly fucking loud - louder than many of my other cars.
I really do not care at all if I get kicked out of prison!
That's kind of the goal of entering a place like that!
Is the Viper just straight pipes?
Oh, no... It has mufflers. At idle, it's not too bad. The minute you get on the gas, it's probably louder than the legal limit. It's gotta be a different exhaust system. It's louder than the Viper I owned before. It's probably an aftermarket exhaust system. It looks expensive, like it's titanium. The V-10 sounds delightful through it.
And, if they kick you out you won't be able to visit Opie again.
Oh, that explains it. I just looked and it has an aftermarket exhaust.

That one is mine. I pretty much stole it at that price.
