I have a whole host of targets to hit with each article and have it configured so that the system tells me. This is just the 'reading' section:

Flesch Reading Ease: The copy scores 74.1 in the test, which is considered fairly easy to read. Good job!

Passive voice: You're using enough active voice. That's great!

Consecutive sentences: There is enough variety in your sentences. That's great!

Subheading distribution: Great job!

Paragraph length: None of the paragraphs are too long. Great job!

Sentence length: Great!

Transition words: Well done!

Good times... Those are just the reading pane metrics. The technical side is at least as complicated, and there's the SEO side as well.

That's why my articles have all come to look similar.

I'm okay with it, I guess. I do it to get indexed well in the search engines and I do get some search engine traffic.

Anyhow, on that note, I think I'm gonna try to get some sleep. The wife's already asleep, so I think I'm gonna go join her. I doubt that I'll be back tonight. Maybe? It depends on my sleep schedule.

LOL @ voicemail and yeah it kinda sucks having to write that way. It does make for easy reading for my viewers, so there's that.
