Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Thats what I thought, I remember you telling me that you had central storage so I was wondering why it would be a pain, but now I know

I have a few browsers, each with their own tasks, a lot of 'em logged into various accounts.

Fortunately, I can usually copy over the files stored in the .config folder and maintain my settings and all that shit, like all my FTP accounts to manage the dozens of servers I rent/own.

I could have just copied the hard drive, but I wanted to use Linux Mint for a while - at least on this device. Linux is awesome like that. I can literally take the hard drive out of the old computer and plop it into this one - and have a reasonable expectation that it will work completely fine with no intervention needed on my behalf.

But, I wanted to switch to a new distro for this device. I have enough devices with Lubuntu on them.

Now you can find bugs in that distro

Oh, Lubuntu is still on a bunch of other computers and it's even on this computer - but as a virtual machine and not on bare metal. I can start up Lubuntu and use it right now on this computer. This computer obviously has enough resources to run many virtual machines at the same time.

Lemme see...

4.8 GHz across 24 cores, it will peak at like 5.6 GHz for short amounts of time. 128 GB of RAM. 1 TB M.2 SSD.

Warning: VOLUME (it's loud)

This is one of the best videos I've seen that convey what it's really like behind the wheel of a race car.

Imagine that for hours. There's like no give in the suspension compared to your car on the street.
