Yeah, got nobody to blame for it either
LOL That's another thing about discipline. I own my fuck-ups. When I make a mistake, I freely admit it. My smashed femur is an excellent example. That's my fault entirely. I'm the fucking moron that got in the car. I'm the fucking moron that egged him on. I'm the fucking moron that got him shitfaced to begin with. I've never blamed anyone else, not even my buddy who was driving. He's a non-driving fuck, but he didn't make me get in the car with him. Hell, I'm pretty sure that taking the drive was my idea in the first place.
I got a cool song out of it!
LOL I try to find the good in it. At best I can say, "Lessons were learned."
It may have indirectly led to Biff and I getting married, as it was one of the first times she showed her love and dedication as clearly as she did.
I now take sleepy meds and I am getting fantastic sleep - better sleep than I've had for 60 years AND THAT IS AWESOME!
I haven't had to pay a medical bill or prescription fee in a long time, though that's coming to a close sometime 'soon'. I've got 7 years from the date of the wreck to start the legal proceedings. They've not started them, but they may at some point. They've offered a variety of settlements, but none have piqued my interest.
So, some good has come out of it.
Also, I have never called it an 'accident'. Not once have I called it an accident. Ain't nothing accidental about it. The wreck was the ONLY outcome that was gonna happen at that speed and with that behavior and skill level.
