I expect them to go down in price. People like me are paying for the development and startup costs by buying in early.
Koenigsegg has carbon fiber wheels. The idea of carbon fiber wheels makes my dick hard. You can lift up the wheel with just a few fingers.
Much of a car's performance is in rolling inertia. You have to slow the wheel down to brake, but that also means you must slow down the mass of the wheels. That takes a ton of energy in both directions, acceleration and deceleration.
Those are interesting to me, but they were like $30k each the last time I checked. The prices were expected to get down into the 10k to 15k range.

Yup. They weigh just a few pounds, so spinning up that mass (and slowing down the same) is much easier/faster.
I do not yet own anything with CF wheels.
