LOL Yeah, it's amazing how the brain works. You use a completely different area of your brain when you read aloud.

Apparently so. I read over that part at least a few times before I noticed. My brain just disregarded the second it completely

That's because your brain is looking at more than just the word and letters, it's also processing things like context and anticipating what the next words will be. When you see a mistake, your brain automatically corrects it.

Try this one on for size:

Yeah, I have seen that before, there is really no issue reading that at all
